And so it begins…..Barry Obama has announced that his VP on the Demonazi ticket will be Joe Biden. You remember Joe Biden, right? You know, the guy that was recently interviewed by Alan Colmes on the Hannity & Colmes show and stated that he was not interested in the VP position. He went further by declaring to Colmes that, if offered the position, he would decline.
.
Not to mention, during Democratic debates, Biden stated and restated that he did not find Obama ready and suited for the Office of President. I wonder what has changed his mind. Perhaps the purported role of mentor to the young Obama by providing his years of experience in the Senate and foreign affairs. As a bonus, he also brings a sharp, incessant tongue with a vile temper.
.
But lo and behold, after further denying to reporters all week that he was even in the running, emails and text messages dribbled out about 3am and shared with the breathless population whom the Annointed One had chosen to join him on the stage.
.
Now they have 2 angry, self-righteous men for the price of one: what a deal!
.
On another note, gaffe central is alive and well. Obama referred to Biden as the next President, then corrected himself. Biden referred to Obama as Barack America. What a pair they are.
.
Where’s my court jester? Scribe! Summon the scribe! The Annointed One wishes to speak.

To be continued.

The Case Against Obama - In His Own Words
Lorie Byrd
Friday, August 22, 2008
.
It would be hard to make a better case against a Barack Obama presidency than the one Obama has made in his own words. The most memorable thing about Obama’s speeches is not generally what he says, but rather how large and enthusiastic the audiences are. If voters pay attention only to the symbolism and get caught up in the excitement of the Obamessiah and his throngs of fainting disciples, he stands a good chance of winning in November. If voters pay attention instead to the things Obama is saying, the case against an Obama presidency will be clear.
.
Obama’s youthful appearance is often cited as one of his biggest assets, but when he opens his mouth he doesn’t always come off as presidential or even particularly intelligent. The political figure who perhaps has received the most ridicule in the past twenty years is Dan Quayle (due largely to a misspelled word on a flashcard he read during an appearance at a school). I wonder how much more grief would have been heaped on Vice President Quayle if he had made any of the following gaffes committed by Barack Obama (from Michelle Malkin):
.
· Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.” The actual death toll: 12.
.
· Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”
.
· Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Alabama, he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement: “There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born.” Obama was born in 1961. The Selma march took place in 1965.
.
Some of Obama’s gaffes go beyond simple slips of the tongue and confusion over numbers though and display a lack of knowledge on important issues as was the case when he commented on the war in Afghanistan and the lack of translators: “We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.” As Malkin pointed out, the real reason it’s “harder for us to use them” in Afghanistan is because Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish, while Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages. Worse than the lack of knowledge of the languages spoken in other nations is that he lacks an understanding of the threat posed by some of them. Or maybe he doesn’t. It is really a bit confusing. In Portland, Oregon, Obama said of Iran, “They don’t pose a serious threat to us.” The following day in Billings, Montana he said: “I’ve made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.” Maybe it depends what the definitions of “grave” and “serious” are. As I said, it is all bit confusing. Maybe that is why so many focus on the crowds at Obama’s events, rather than to what Obama is actually saying to them.
.
If voters are paying attention to what Barack Obama says they will see not only a lack of knowledge of important issues, but on some of the issues where he is informed, an attempt to hide his true position and past votes.
.
In the Saddleback Church forum last week, in response to Rev. Rick Warren’s question, “At what point does a baby get human rights in your view?” Obama responded: “Well, uh, you know, I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or, uh, a scientific perspective, uh, answering that question with specificity, uh, you know, is, is, uh, above my pay grade.” As blogger Cassy Fiano points out, the idea that someone running for President would dodge such an important question in that way is “beyond ridiculous” and obviously an attempt to be as ambiguous as possible so that he does not offend those who disagree with the very radical positions he has taken on the issue of abortion during his political career. Obama’s past comments and votes on abortion legislation definitely say more about him than anything he is saying on the subject now.
.
Another example of actions speaking louder than words can be found when we listen to Obama’s money talk. According to Obama’s tax returns from 2000-2006, the Obamas have given far less to charity than John McCain has. In all but the two most recent years reported, the Obamas gave around 1% or less of their income to charity. Their contributions increased in 2005 and 2006 to 4.7% and 6.1% respectively, but still are far short of those of McCain who gave 28.6% in 2006 and 27.3% in 2007. But if you listen to Obama’s words you will hear that he is very concerned about the least among us.
.
According to the following statement from an Obama speech earlier this summer, it appears pretty much everyone who isn’t Obama is a lesser being: “…I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals.” If Obama is able to slow the rise of the oceans then ending poverty and securing peace should be a cakewalk. I suppose he will only be able to accomplish such feats if elected President though.
.
This week John McCain pulled ahead of Obama in many polls and projections. Maybe voters have finally started listening to what Obama has been saying now that the thrill of his oratory is wearing thin.

.
.
It’s the core thinking….
.
I’m reminded of the time that Catherine - a little girl in our
neighborhood - told me that she wanted to be President one day.
.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there with us -
and I asked Catherine - ‘If you were President what would be the first
thing you would do?’
.
Catherine replied - ‘I would give houses to all the homeless people.’
.
‘Wow - what a worthy goal you have there Catherine.’ I told her
(while both parents beamed), ‘But, you don’t have to wait until you’re
President to do that. You can come over to my house and clean up all
the dog poop in the back yard and I will pay you $5 dollars. Then we can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $5 dollars to use for a new house.’
.
Catherine (who was about 8) thought that over for a second, and then
replied, ‘why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and clean up the dog
poop himself, and you can pay him the $5 dollars.’
.
Welcome to the Republican Party Catherine…..
.
.
Once upon a time, on a farm in Virginia , there was a little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat.
.
.
.
She called all of her Democrat neighbors together and said, ‘If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?’
.
.
.
‘Not I,’ said the cow.
.
‘Not I,’ said the duck.
.
‘Not I,’ said the pig.
.
‘Not I,’ said the goose.
.
‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen, and so she did.
.
.
.
The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain.
.
‘Who will help me reap my wheat?’ asked the little red hen.
.
.
.
‘Not I,’ said the duck.
.
‘Out of my classification,’ said the pig.
.
‘I’d lose my seniority,’ said the cow.
.
‘I’d lose my unemployment compensation,’ said the goose.
.
‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen, and so she did
.
.
.
At last it came time to bake the bread.
.
Who will help me bake the bread?’ asked the little red hen.
.
.
.
‘That would be overtime for me,’ said the cow.
.
‘I’d lose my welfare benefits,’ said the duck.
.
‘I’m a dropout and never learned how,’ said the pig.
.
‘If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination,’ said the goose.
.
‘Then I will do it by myself,’ said the little red hen.
.
.
.
She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see. They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. But the little red hen said, ‘No, I shall eat all five loaves.’
.
.
.
‘Excess profits!’ cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
.
‘Capitalist leech!’ screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)
.
‘I demand equal rights!’ yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
.
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Ted Kennedy)
.
.
.
And they all painted ‘Unfair!’ picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
.
.
.
Then the farmer (Obama) came. He said to the little red hen, ‘You must not be so greedy.’
.
.
.
‘But I earned the bread,’ said the little red hen.
.
.
.
‘Exactly,’ said Barack the farmer. ‘That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants.
.
But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle.’
.
.
.
And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, ‘I am grateful, for now I truly understand.’
.
.
.
But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the ‘party’ and got her bread free.
.
.
.
And all the Democrats smiled. ‘Fairness’ had been established. Individual initiative had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared…so long as there was free bread that ‘the rich’ were paying for.

EPILOGUE
.
.
.
Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.
.
Hillary got $8 million for hers.
.
That’s $20 million for the memories from two people, who for eight years, repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn’t remember anything.

IS THIS A GREAT BARNYARD OR WHAT?

Well, I thought about it and worded the title of this commentary Obama liews to VFW. I know, you can read well, but I mention this due to the fact that I could have easily worded it Obama lies AT the VFW. Being that we knew that Owhina would open his mouth while at the VFW, he would therefore lie while at the VFW. The salient point here is that he lied TO the VFW.
.
Not having served myself, but being raised by a proud and decorated member of the 82nd Airborne, this dyspeptic display even insulted me.
.
In contrast to the even handed, considered, and respectable address which John McCain delivered to the VFW on the previous day, Obama’s liberal temper tantrum, through clenched jaw that betrayed his disdain for even having to make this appearance, showed to all his anger for being questioned and his contempt for those who actually shed not only their sweat, but their blood for their country.
.
Contrary to his mouthed words and empty oratory, Obama has no clue what patriotism and sound judgment entail. I pray to God that we as a people have more collective wisdom and insight than to elect such a pompous, egotistical idiot sans savant to the Office of the President of the US.
.
America…are you paying attention?
08/18/08
As painful as it was, I forced myself to watch Obama’s entire interview at Saddleback Church this past Saturday night. Repeatedly, I had to comment to the TV that the individual in the closeup was not only stalling, grasping for words, stammering as a “placeholder” statement, but outright lying…again.
.
In contrast to John McCain, Owhina floundered to get his mind around a question, appear to be considering many things regarding the subject, and form a comprehensive response. In fact, he was trying to make sure that he gave an obsequious answer, attempting to state things in such a manner as to appease everyone at once. You see, that way he could garner the affection and approval of all, while appearing to be deep and thoughtful.
.
What he actually did, was appear to be feigning the very qualities that the electorate wishes observe in a candidate, truly making himself come across as disingenuous.
.
Case in point: when asked when does an unborn child begin to live, having rights to be protected as any other person, Obama responded saying that determination and understanding was “above my pay grade".
.
Now, was this a genuine, honest, and disarming statement as he wished it to be? Well, no. This was an attempt on his part to represent this simple concept as something greatly complex and open to several interpretations, any of which he could not truly argue with, because true to him is a relevant matter.
.
Well, Obama, true is not relevant or dependent upon anything but the very pillars of truth set forth by God. Did not state that you are a believer, washed in the Blood of your Redeemer, Jesus Christ? Yet, you attempt to assuage everyone by trying to tether absolute truths to personal approval, experience, interpretation, and understanding.
.
Should we apply this simply? By your “standards", if one truly believes that he can fly like Superman, then who are we to really state that it is not possible. It is not our right to determine the boundaries of your reality, of your understanding of basic truths. However, the fact remains, that when you step off the edge of that building sans parachute, you will fall like a rock to your death. How high a pay grade do you need to understand that? Physics remain the same regardless of how ready you are to admit their veracity.
.
So it is with life’s first moments, Barry. This did not seem a difficult matter for John McCain when asked the same question. Unhesitatingly, he responded that an unborn child’s life begins at the moment of conception. How earth-shattering! The fact that the merging of the life forces of 2 living beings should create a new life from the moment of their union is miraculous, yet simple.
.
This type of feigned sagacity was prevalent throughout Obama’s interview, to the point that the pastor stated that they needed to move along more quickly. Stammering and posturing do not answer questions or solve problems. Simple enough concept. Furthermore, the pastor also noted that John McCain proceeded further in the list of questions than Obama. That’s easily done when you’re giving forthright answers, instead of grandstanding and attempting to appear deep and studied.
.
At this point, it should be firmly in people’s minds that Obama is not prepared or qualified for the pay grade of President of the US. It’s very questionable whether or not he should continue at the pay grade of US Senator.
.
America, are you listening carefully?

25 Reasons You Might Be a Liberal John Hawkins Friday, August 15, 2008 With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy, you just might be a liberal if... * You're sure the Constitution explicitly guarantees the right to abortion and gay marriage, but not the right to own a handgun. * You think Dan Quayle is the dumbest Vice-President we ever had because he believed a flash card that misspelled "potato," but think Obama is a genius despite the fact he believes we have more than 57 states. * You'd be more upset about your favorite candidate being endorsed by the NRA than the Communist Party. * You think the same criminals who use guns in the commission of a crime will just hand them over to comply with the law if guns are made illegal. * You know that 86% of all income taxes are paid by the top 25% of income earners and you still feel that the rich "aren't paying their fair share of the taxes." * You put a higher priority on oil pipelines possibly inconveniencing a few caribou than you do on lowering the price of gas for everyone in the country by drilling ANWR. * You're worried that Osama Bin Laden might not get a fair trial if we capture him, but want George Bush thrown in prison for being too zealous in protecting us from Al-Qaeda. * You get infuriated when you hear about the CEO of a Fortune 500 company making tens of millions of dollars, but don't see a problem with an actor, basketball player, or trial lawyer making the same amount. * You're constantly seeing subtle, coded racism in campaign ads, but see nothing racist about blacks being promoted over more qualified white applicants because of Affirmative Action. * You think it's obscene that oil companies are allowed to make 8.3 cents per gallon in profit with gas prices this high, but would never suggest cutting the 13 cents per gallon they pay on taxes to reduce the price of gas. * You think George Bush is a chickenhawk because he wanted to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan despite the fact that he only served in the National Guard, but you don't think the same about Barack Obama, who has never served in the military and probably couldn't find either country on a map without help. * You think protesting outside of abortion clinics is extremism and should be illegal, but carrying around giant puppet heads while wearing a t-shirt that compares Bush to Hitler is just exercising your First Amendment rights. * You think the case for global warming is proven without a shadow of a doubt, but that we need another century or two worth of evidence to figure out if capitalism and free markets work better than socialism. * You believe the best way to fix the government screwing something up in the market is with...drumroll, please...more government intervention. * You think the first thing we should have done when Russia invaded Georgia was to take the matter to the United Nations, where Russia sits on the UN Security Council. * You spend your days criticizing the use of private jets, SUVS, and luxurious houses that consume enormous amounts of resources and then ride in an SUV to the airport, get on your private plane, and fly home to your luxurious house. * You have more nice things to say about countries like Cuba and France than you do about your own country. * You think the war in Iraq is unwinnable, but victory in the war on poverty is going to happen any day now if we can just get the Democrats back in charge. * You won't even support English as our national language, but can't seem to understand why people worry about tens of millions of illegal aliens changing our culture. * You think censorship is absolutely wrong; except when it's applied to conservatives on college campuses or on talk radio via the fairness doctrine. * You get more upset about an American soldier accidentally killing a civilian than you do about a terrorist deliberately blowing up a school bus full of kids. * You think Fox News is hopelessly biased to the right, but MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, and CBS call it right down the middle. * You think the real hero of the Cold War was Mikhail Gorbachev. * You couldn't care less about what Americans in states like Kansas or Virginia think of you, but you would be greatly upset if a Frenchman gave you a dirty look because you're an American. * You think kids in public schools should have to watch Earth in the Balance and read Heather Has Two Mommies, but no piece of literature with the word "Jesus" on it should be allowed within a hundred yards of a school.

Just to make it clearer, Kudlow goes on:
"It's the middle class that will ultimately shoulder this fiscal burden in terms of higher taxes and lower growth..."
$800 billion... that's a staggering figure!
Just to put it in perspective, the United States government collected approximately $2.6 trillion in revenues in 2007.
$800 billion is 30% of that figure! $800 billion would represent the GREATEST EXPANSION OF GOVERNMENT in the history of the United States!
To put it in further perspective $800 billion is about $6800.00 per household or $2700.00 per every man, woman and child in the United States!
And YOU get to pay for it!
Kudlow lists just a few of Obama's goals:
$150 billion on a green-energy plan.
an infrastructure investment bank to the tune of $60 billion.
an expansion of health insurance by roughly $65 billion.
Steve Moore, writing for The Wall Street Journal did the math. The Weekly Standard quotes him as saying that Obama's tax schemes will add up to a; "39.6 percent personal income tax, a 52.2 percent combined income and payroll tax, a 28 percent capital-gains tax, a 39.6 percent dividends tax and a 55 percent estate tax."

Subject: Windfall Tax on Retirement Income Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people, you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. That's what the Speaker of the House is saying. Read below............... Nancy Pelosi (D, CA) wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income. In other words tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is a nut case! You aren't going to believe this. Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities! This woman is frightening. She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Karl Marx say something like this), in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest.' (I am not rich, are you?) When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied: 'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'.' (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) She wants to reduce your retirement dollars and give them to others who have not worked, as you have, for them.
Kathleen Parker has intercepted letters to Putin from Obama and McCain.
From Obama:
.
Dear (Former) President Putin:
.
I’m sorry to be writing this e-mail instead of meeting you in person, preferably in the Oval Office, where I belong. Soon, soon.
.
Nevertheless, and notwithstanding the foregoing, I felt it imperative that I express my deep concern about Russia’s invasion of the tiny, democratically elected sovereign nation of Georgia. It would appear that you are not familiar with my platform for change and hope. War does not fit into this template and I am quite frankly at a loss for words to express my deep, deep distress.
.
As the chosen leader of a new generation of Americans who speak a global language of peace, hope, harmony and change, this is simply unacceptable. Quite frankly, your actions pose potentially severe, long-term consequences. I’m not sure what those might be, but they won’t be nice or fun.
.
Please picture me looking very serious when I say that I respectfully request you to calm down. Life is but a flicker in time and we’re but actors strutting and fretting. That is to say, we’re all on this planetary journey together and our karma is interrelated and interdependent. Thus, it would seem that our differences are best resolved through words, not bombs.
.
It is said that war is a failure of diplomacy. I would submit that it is also counterintuitive. If my Kenyan father and my Kansan mother and my multinational upbringing taught me anything, it is that we are all One. That said, I am The One the world has been waiting for — and you are, quite frankly, blocking my chi.
.
As soon as possible, I’d like to sit down and begin talking about how we can resolve these and other differences that threaten peace-loving people, which I’m sure includes you. I haven’t looked into your eyes and would never presume to know your soul, but I do know that we share a common humanity and that we can all just get along.
.
Yours in Global Harmony,

.
Senator John McCain could never convince me to vote for him. Only Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama can cause me to vote for McCain.
.
After long and serious thought, I have decided to endorse Senator John McCain for President.
.
I have always voted for the person and have not voted for anyone because some political party was telling me who I should vote for.
.
We all know the choices by now and, that said, I do believe that the process of selecting a chief executive is deeply flawed. The words ‘money’ and ’special interests’ come to mind, among many others.
.
Here’s the way I see it:
.
Barack Obama, you are a fine public speaker. You are also an extremely liberal Senator from the State of Illinois, which has a long and rich history of political corruption of the first magnitude. You are indeed a child of that system.
.
You have finally insulted my intelligence far beyond my capacity to tolerate your insults. It has nothing at all to do with your skin color. As a matter of fact, it would be so COOL to finally have an African-American for President. What a great statement that would be to the entire world that we are indeed the greatest country on earth!
.
But, unfortunately, General Colin Powell is not running, and YOU are NOT the man for this job!
.
Barack baby, you want me to believe that you have never heard the sermons of your own pastor, the Right Reverend ‘God ???? America’ Jeremiah Wright. It is a matter of record that this has been your church for over 20 years. It is a matter of record that you were married there by this very pastor, and that your children were baptized there.
.
The good Reverend saw fit to visit Khadafy in Libya with you and to give a lifetime achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, of all people.
.
We have all now seen excerpts of his sermons all over the airwaves by now.
And you have publicly stated that this man IS your ’spiritual mentor.’
.
BUT, your pastor is NOT the reason I am NOT voting for you. His words were disturbing enough, but it is your own HUGE church congregation, seen jumping, hooting and howling to his words in the background that disturb me the most.
And please don’t tell me you attended church there and never once heard a ‘discouraging word’ in the 20 years you attended there. Don’t tell me, that in addition to the good reverend, that you are now not having anything to do with all those other people seen hooting and howling out in the audience in the background of his fiery tirades. Even Oprah Winfrey got disgusted and walked out on your campaign. I am no Oprah fan, but still she did the right thing.
.
Now YOU look me in the eye and ask me to believe that you never heard such language in all the years you attended there! This is like me telling you that I attended dozens of Klan rallies and never once heard the ‘N’ word. Yep. And Bill Clinton ‘did not inhale’.
.
Yes, Mr. Obama, we all have friends who have said stupid things that embarrassed us, but NOW you have asked me to believe something that is so incredibly stupid that you are telling me that I am just stupid enough to believe you.
.
THAT is the main reason that I will never vote for you.
.
I am deeply sorry, that in a country teeming with enormously talented African Americans who would make a good President, that the political system has chosen YOU. You are a pathetic and plastic excuse for an American, who will not even salute the Flag during the Pledge of Allegiance. God forbid you ever get near the Oval Office.

The Man Who Could Topple Jack Murtha
Michelle Malkin
Wednesday, July 23, 2008
.
A jaw-dropping political miracle may be on the horizon. No, I’m not talking about the second coming of the Obamessiah. I’m talking about the long-deserved comeuppance of troop-smearing, pork-feasting, scandal-tainted Democratic Rep. Jack Murtha of Pennsylvania.
.
The 18-term congressman’s challenger, staunch conservative Republican newcomer William Russell, raised nearly $670,000 in the second fundraising quarter. Earmark king Murtha scraped together a measly $119,000. Russell’s underdog campaign bested Murtha without the perks of incumbency, national name recognition, big PAC donations or mainstream media support.
.
Even more amazing: The 45-year-old Russell, a Desert Storm veteran, former Army lieutenant colonel and Army reservist who survived the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon, was not even publicly campaigning during the quarter. He is on active duty with the Army until after Aug. 1 and is barred from actively campaigning until then.
.
If all that didn’t make this enough of an inspiring David and Goliath story: In February, a Pennsylvania judge ruled that Russell had failed to collect enough signatures to make the primary ballot. But Russell refused to give up on his goal of permanently redeploying Murtha from his entrenched seat of power in Washington. The GOP neophyte persevered on a shoestring budget and won more than 4,000 write-in votes in the spring to earn a spot on the general election ballot. According to Russell’s campaign manager and veteran GOP activist Peg Luksik, the bulk of contributions from about 16,000 donors in the second quarter were less than $50.
.
Russell’s clear on where he stands. No doubt Barack Obama would label him bitter and clingy. “I am a Conservative,” he says in his defining campaign statement. “I believe in the sovereignty and security of this one nation, under God. I believe the primary role of government is to provide for the common defense and a legal framework to protect families and individual liberty. … I believe that no one owes me anything just because I live and breathe.”
.
The excitement and buzz around Russell stand in stark contrast to grass-roots disgust on the right with Beltway Republicans who continue to push the party to the left in a brain-dead attempt to “rebrand” the GOP. He has united pro-troops families, social conservatives, fiscal conservatives, Reagan Democrats and Independents fed up with Murtha’s culture of corruption dating back to his Abscam days in the 1980s. Murtha was not indicted in the infamous bribery probe, but he was videotaped entertaining a $50,000 bribe from undercover FBI agents posing as emissaries for Arab sheiks trying to enter our country illegally.
.
“The incredible story about Bill’s campaign is that the $15 and $25 contributions are coming in from all over Pennsylvania and every corner of the country,” Luksik noted on the Russell Brigade website (www.russellbrigade.com). “This is K-Street versus Main Street. These are patriotic families expressing support for soldiers, sailors and Marines, and people saying they’ve had enough of the old ‘pay-to-play’ culture in the Capitol. That’s what’s fueling this campaign.”
.
Russell decided to enter politics after hearing Murtha’s slanderous 2006 accusations that Marines in Haditha “overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” As I reported in June, seven Marines have been cleared or won case dismissals in the Iraq war incident Murtha recklessly adjudicated in the court of public opinion – with willing mainstream journalists at The New York Times, MSNBC, and in the world press swinging their nooses.
.
Perhaps that complicity explains the great media wall of silence around Russell’s upstart campaign. Republican Bill Russell offers ethical, freedom-enhancing, pro-responsibility, anti-retreat, unapologetically conservative change they don’t want to believe in.

Ok, so everyone knows now that Brecky Boy Edwards had an affair in 2006.
.
He has admitted on TV that it happened. The new age bimbo has admitted it and refused a paternity test. Mrs. Edwards is standing behind Brecky.
.
Sad thing is that the Edwards kids could lose both their parents: 1 to cancer and the other to jail. Currently under investigation is whether payments made to the bimbo violated any campaign laws.
.
Brecky Boy as and arrogant, pompous, two timing ass. Who knew?
.
We did.

Guns and Church
.
Since I identify with the people who fall into Barrack Obama’s elitist description about people of faith who keep firearms I’m not very happy with Barrack Obama’s recent remarks.
.
.
He said something to the effect that us rednecks cling to our guns and our religion when we get frustrated and I would like to take umbrage to these remarks. My faith goes much de eper t han his superficial explanation and I love my guns even when I’m not frustrated.
.
.
And I am not by myself. I was going t o church and shooting guns before Mr. Obama was even born and come from a long line of good people who have been doing it for generations.
.
.
.
To me this latest Obama blunder only helps reveal the depth of condescension the far left wing of the Democrat party has for the folks out here in flyover country.
.
Mr. Obama’s remarks are insulting to a lot of folks. It’s kind of like Abraham Lincoln said, ‘God must love the common people because He made so many of them’.
.
His remarks make me think that Obama doesn’t know the people of this country very well. I’m sure he knows the jet set and the Hollywood bunch, the limousine liberals and the save the whales, kill the babies crowd, but does he think that the ordinary peo ple do n ‘t count? Does he think that they’re so stupid that they don’t know who he’s talking about when
He says these things? Doe s he think their opinions aren’t important?
Apparently.
.
How can a man stand in front of America and tell people what he wants to do for them and have so little respect for a whole segment of the population? In fact, a very large segment. Does that mean that he would only represent the high-minded liberal ideals of the far left and ignore the rest of us?
.
.
What kind of Commander and Chief would he make if he doesn’t respect the very people who make up the lion’s share of the armed forces?
.
.
You may say I’m over reacting, but I’m getting sick and tired of him making these elitist statements and saying that he h ad bee n taken out of context or some other flimsy excuse.
.
.
After his wife’s remark about not being proud of this country and his pastor’s statements calling America the U.S.K.K.K.A. And his own statement about not wanting his daughter punished with a baby, it makes me wonder what kind of a man Obama really is and what kind of a president he’d make.
.
Would he be an antigun advocate pushing the effort to take the firearms out of innocent citizen’s hands? Would he not respect the religious beliefs of America , not taking them into account in his agenda?
.
.
I really don’t know much about the man and neither does America . He basically came from out of nowhere and as the facts come out little by by little, they don ‘t mak e a particularly confident picture.
.
.
I have a great fear that if our military gets broken by another President, this tim e we’re not going to have time to fix it again and what that spells for America , I don’t even want to contemplate.
.
.
Oh well, I guess I’ll grab my gun and go to church.
.
Pray for our troops
.
What do you think?
.
God Bless America

Obama purports to be Christian? Just read this article by Pat Buchanan that puts several things in perspective:
.
.
A Catholic Case Against Barack
by Patrick J. Buchanan (more by this author)
Posted 08/12/2008 ET
.
.
In the Pennsylvania primary, Barack Obama rolled up more than 90 percent of the African-American vote. Among Catholics, he lost by 40 points. The cool liberal Harvard Law grad was not a good fit for the socially conservative ethnics of Altoona, Aliquippa and Johnstown.
.
But if Barack had a problem with Catholics then, he has a far higher hurdle to surmount in the fall, with those millions of Catholics who still take their faith and moral code seriously.
.
For not only is Barack the most pro-abortion member of the Senate, with his straight A+ report card from the National Abortion Rights Action League and Planned Parenthood. He supports the late-term procedure known as partial-birth abortion, where the baby’s skull is stabbed with scissors in the birth canal and the brains are sucked out to end its life swiftly and ease passage of the corpse into the pan.
.
Partial-birth abortion, said the late Sen. Pat Moynihan, “comes as close to infanticide as anything I have seen in our judiciary.”
.
Yet, when Congress was voting to ban this terrible form of death for a mature fetus, Michelle Obama was signing fundraising letters pledging that, if elected, Barack would be “tireless” in keeping legal this “legitimate medical procedure.”
.
And Barack did not let the militants down. When the Supreme Court upheld the congressional ban on this barbaric procedure, Barack denounced the court for denying “equal rights for women.”
.
As David Freddoso reports in his new best-seller, “The Case Against Barack Obama,” the Illinois senator goes further than any U.S. senator has dared go in defending what John Paul II called the “culture of death.”
.
Thrice in the Illinois legislature, Obama helped block a bill that was designed solely to protect the life of infants already born, and outside the womb, who had miraculously survived the attempt to kill them during an abortion. Thrice, Obama voted to let doctors and nurses allow these tiny human beings die of neglect and be tossed out with the medical waste.
.
How can a man who purports to be a Christian justify this?
.
If, as its advocates contend, abortion has to remain legal to protect the life and health, mental and physical, of the mother, how is a mother’s life or health in the least threatened by a baby no longer inside her – but lying on a table or in a pan fighting for life and breath?
.
How is it essential for the life or health of a woman that her baby, who somehow survived the horrible ordeal of abortion, be left to die or put to death? Yet, that is what Obama voted for, thrice, in the Illinois Senate.
.
When a bill almost identical to the one Barack fought in Illinois, the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, came to the floor of the U.S. Senate in 2001, the vote was 98 to 0 in favor. Barbara Boxer, the most pro-abortion member of the Senate before Barack came, spoke out on its behalf:
.
“Of course, we believe everyone should deserve the protection of this bill. … Who could be more vulnerable than a newborn baby? So, of course, we agree with that. … We join with an ‘aye’ vote on this. I hope it will, in fact, be unanimous.”
.
Obama says he opposed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act because he feared it might imperil Roe v. Wade. But if Roe v. Wade did allow infanticide or murder, which is what letting a tiny baby die of neglect or killing it outright amounts to, why would he not want that court decision reviewed and amended to outlaw infanticide?
.
Is the right to an abortion so sacrosanct to Obama that killing by neglect or snuffing out of the life of tiny babies outside the womb must be protected if necessary to preserve that right?
Obama is an abortion absolutist. “I could find no instance in his entire career,” writes Freddoso, “in which he voted for any regulation or restriction on the practice of abortion.”
.
In 2007, Barack pledged that, in his first act as president, he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would cancel every federal, state or local regulation or restriction on abortion. The National Organization for Women says it would abolish all restrictions on government funding of abortion.
.
What we once called God’s Country would become the nation on earth most zealously committed to an unrestricted right of abortion from conception to birth.
.
Before any devout Catholic, Evangelical Christian or Orthodox Jew votes for Obama, he or she might spend 15 minutes in Chapter 10 of Freddoso’s “Case Against Barack.” For if, as Catholics believe, abortion is the killing of an unborn child, and participation in an abortion entails automatic excommunication, how can a good Catholic support a candidate who will appoint justices to make Roe v. Wade eternal and eliminate all restrictions on a practice Catholics legislators have fought for three decades to curtail?
.
And which Catholic priests and prelates will it be who give invocations at Obama rallies, even as Mother Church fights to save the lives of unborn children whom Obama believes have no right to life and no rights at all?

Everyone in this country that pays attention to Capitol Hill at all is aware of Nancy “I Am A Moron” Pelosi’s blustering and bumbling approach to avoiding real issues in this country. For example, there is the roadblock set by Congress to this country solving it’s energy problems. These are problems originally created by Democrats….Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton…
.
Below is an article that originally appeared on Townhall.com by Michelle Malkin, that states the case against Pelosi very well.
.
What America’s Daughters Need To Know About Nancy Pelosi
Michelle Malkin
Wednesday, August 06, 2008The Democratic Speaker of the House and a co-author hired to try to add flavor to bland Beltway establishment oatmeal have penned a self-help book for “America’s daughters” to help them “Know Your Power.” It’s a dreadfully pedestrian text ("As long as we recognize the power within us, we will continue to have choices, and we will continue to lead."), surpassed in its dreadfulness only by the timing of its publication.
With congressional approval ratings at an all-time low and the Democratic Congress under fire for taking a five-week vacation instead of working on energy policy, perhaps this wasn’t the best time to send Nancy Pelosi jetting from coast to coast to tell our daughters how to save the planet, manage our households and run our government.
Sorry, Nan. There aren’t enough carbon offsets to compensate for this tree-wasting dud and its accompanying gas-guzzling, hot air-emitting publicity tour.
Intended to inspire young women to public service, Pelosi’s preachy tome ("Courage springs from the heart.") stands in stark contrast to her refusal to stay and work this summer in Washington on a host of energy bills and drilling proposals. “Know Your Power” merely underscores the true message of Pelosi’s actions (or rather, inaction): “Do as I say, not as I do.”
While Madame Speaker advises America’s daughters to “never draw a line in the sand,” she refuses to return to Washington and allow up-or-down votes on Republican energy proposals.
While Madame Speaker advises America’s daughters “to defend your position with facts,” she has demonstrated blinking ignorance about the price of gas in her own district and the laws of supply and demand.
While Madame Speaker advises America’s daughters to “treat one another in a civil way,” she has resorted to business-as-usual demagoguery against her ideological opponents. Over the weekend, Pelosi denounced the conservative revolt on the House floor last week – an objection to the Democrats’ five-week recess – as “a war dance of the handmaidens of the oil companies.”
While Madame Speaker advises America’s daughters that “you have to know what you’re talking about, you can’t grandstand,” she gave a pitiful performance on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” when pressed to explain her stonewalling of up-or-down votes on energy bills.
In classic grandstanding style, Pelosi mischaracterized GOP proposals as drilling-only, blustered about drilling not having an immediate effect on lowering gas prices, criticized Republicans for not divining the right parliamentary moves to get their legislative plans through, and then sniffed imperiously that “they’ll have to use their imagination as to how they can get a vote.”
Spoken like a true leader filled with “courage,” fueled by “passion” for public service and driven by her caring for struggling families feeling the impact of high-energy costs and limited access to American oil.
Assailing Republican bills as “diversionary,” Pelosi spent 10 painful minutes attempting to divert a simple question:
Pelosi: This is a diversionary tactic from failed energy policies.
Stephanopoulos: But if you feel you have the better arguments, why not give a straight up or down vote for drilling?
Pelosi: Because the misrepresentation is being made that this is going to reduce the price at the pump. This is, again, a decoy. It’s not a solution.
Stephanopoulos: Well, if you’re right, why not let it be debated out and have the vote?
Pelosi: We have a debate every single day on this subject.
Except on the House floor, where Pelosi forbade debate on GOP amendments and where the lights and cameras have been darkened to prevent debate.
Rather than exercise her power responsibly by calling lawmakers back to the Capitol to address Americans’ concerns about gas prices and energy independence, Pelosi has dismissed oil and gas drilling as a “hoax” – even as she reportedly encourages vulnerable Democrats to embrace drilling to bolster their electoral prospects. In 2006, she blamed a Republican congress for high gas prices. In power for 19 months, Madame Speaker now blames the Republican minority for gas prices that have nearly doubled.
Nancy Pelosi’s real lesson for America’s daughters: Women in power are just as capable of mastering Washington double talk, blame avoidance and partisan hackery as are men.
Imagine that.

The Next Time You Say, ‘Bush Lied, People Died’ – Think
Larry Elder
Thursday, August 07, 2008Listening to National Public Radio on the way home from work, I found the interview – at least at first – fun enough.
NPR’s Terry Gross interviewed comedian/actor Will Ferrell, actor John C. Reilly and writer/director Adam McKay – to promote a new film.
All yukked about their careers, and then the interviewer asked Adam McKay how he and Ferrell began their collaboration years ago on “Saturday Night Live.” “We had several writers writing a lot of the political stuff,” said McKay. “But yeah, I had written a couple pretty big ones with Will. We actually wrote a sketch right after (Bush) was elected where Dick Cheney came out and said, ‘Now a message from the president of the United States,’ and it was Dick Cheney. And he was telling everyone, ‘If you make less than $250,000, turn the channel right now because this doesn’t apply to you.’ And then he would say, ‘If you make less than $10 million, turn the channel. What I’m about to say doesn’t apply to you,’ until finally it was a billion dollars. And he literally said, ‘Put all your money in defense stocks. We’re going to start a lot of wars. Oh my God, we’re going to make a fortune off oil.’ We wrote the most absurd things for him. And Will comes in as George Bush and he’s found a stray dog in the parking lot and he’s asking Cheney if he can keep him. And then he leaves, and Cheney goes on to talk about how we’re going to rip this country off.”
Then McKay took off his comic-writer hat and turned somber. Speaking seriously, without humor or satire, he said, “And I looked at the sketch about a year ago, and it’s all completely accurate. And sadly it had – “
” – All came true, yeah,” interrupted Ferrell. All came true?
I pulled into a restaurant, where I stayed less than an hour. I got back into my car, the radio still on NPR, but this time a different host, and a very different subject matter. Wounded Iraq war vets told their stories.
Staff Sgt. Jay Wilkerson: “Two IEDs hit my Humvee. The first IED hit the left door of the passenger (compartment) and blew the door off the Humvee, and the scout, who was behind the driver, he was killed. His body went with the door. His legs stayed in the vehicle. His name was Staff Sgt. Robert Hernandez. He was also my best friend. And the second RPG missile came, and it came inside the Humvee and exploded. And that’s where the shrapnel went everywhere. And at that time, I was knocked unconscious. I woke up in Walter Reed Hospital.
“My family was coming in to see me. I mean family members like my brother, my mother, my sister, were coming and hugging me and kissing – and I was like, ‘Who are these people kissing me?’ I didn’t know who they were. And I had to learn how to walk again. I was in a wheelchair. Then I was walking with a cane. And I had to learn how to dress myself, how to eat, how to talk again, because I stutter now. You feel like you’re a child in a man’s body. I can’t hear out of my left ear. I have a constant ringing. And my left eye is hurting because it stays dry. It doesn’t – there’s no tears. And my face, the jaw is off-line. I had multiple problems with my fingers – I can’t bend my fingers. I’m constantly having neck problems – I had a C5 (injury). I can’t sleep all night. I can only sleep like three hours a day, and that’s a good night for me.
“You know, it was actually easier for me if I would have died in Iraq. My neuropsychologist has told me my left side of my brain has been injured severely. So that is your ability to multi-task, to handle problems. So what I do, I watch game shows or look at crossword puzzles, and even though I’m in school or at the VA learning these processes, I do it on my own, to try to speed up my healing process. I’m trying to enhance my own ability because I’m a father. I have two kids. I have to show them that, hey, even though Daddy’s not himself, you still have to work hard to achieve something.”
I understand opposing the President on policy grounds. I cannot, however, get my head around people like Ferrell and company, who, in effect, tell wounded soldiers that they suffer not because President Bush thought the mission important for national security, not because the President considered Iraq a “grave and gathering danger.”
No, they endure their daily ordeal because Darth Cheney and his minion Bush lied – sending over 4,000 valiant men and women to their graves, with over 30,000 incurring wounds, in order to make their rich friends richer still.
Mssrs. Ferrell and McKay, meet Staff Sgt. Wilkerson.

Barack Obama -- fighting to keep us ignorant -

quoted from the Power Line Blog:
Barack Obama – fighting to keep us ignorant
.
It’s unfortunate that, at least until this Friday, Barack Obama opposed off-shore drilling. Still, this is a policy issue on which reasonable people probably can differ and certainly could before gasoline prices skyrocketed. But, as I set forth below, Obama has also led a one-man crusade to keep the American people ignorant about what’s at stake in the debate over off-shore drilling. This, it seems to me, is almost criminal. For it implies that there is no set of facts under which we should ever consider drilling off-shore. The absurdity of that position, always apparent, is confirmed by Obama’s willingness to flip on the issue.
.
Here’s the background. In 2005, Congress considered energy legislation that included an off-shore inventory. The inventory would provide an estimate of our off-shore reserves. Taking it wouldn’t mean drilling; it would just tell us what’s out there. Yet Obama voted to kill the off-shore inventory provision. So, unfortunately, did John McCain. However, the effort to kill the inventory failed, and the first inventory report was issued in February 2006.
.
Obama, though, did not give up in his efforts to keep the public ignorant. In January 2007, he proposed legislation to eliminate the authorization to conduct the inventory, as established in the 2005 law. Obama’s bill is S. 115. The key provision is section 101(a)(5). It provides that “Section 357 (42 U.S.C. 15912) (relating to comprehensive inventory of OCS oil and natural gas resources)” is “repealed as of the date of enactment of this act.” It’s my understanding that Obama is the only sponsor of this legislation.
.
Ironically, Obama called his legislation “The Oil SENSE Act.” How audacious a label for an act that would deprive the public of key information relevant to deciding whether off-shore drilling makes sense. As far as I know, Obama’s legislation is still pending.
.
It’s wonderful that Obama now thinks it might be ok to drill off-shore, provided that such drilling is part of an “overarching really thoughtful” energy package. Perhaps now, as part of the package, Obama will stop opposing an inventory of our off-shore energy assets. After all, if Obama is prepared to support drilling, he no longer needs to keep voters in the dark about what we are losing by not drilling.
.

08/02/08
There have been several interesting developments in the presidential election over the last few days. Since the “Annointed One” has finished his Middle East and European tour and the “Berlin Bounce” has not given him a commanding lead in the polls [Obama & McCain are in a dead heat], some have been wondering what’s next.
.
Well, in an effort to bolster this situation, Barry Obama went to Capitol Hill…you know, the place he’s supposed to work…where e embraced Queen Pelosi and Prince Reid in order to give us a preview of the Trifecta they wish to forge.
.
Can you imagine the damage that those three idiots could at least attempt to force upon this country?
.
Now let’s add the socialist legislation that Reid has placed before Congress. Let’s add the fact that Pelosi has denied bringing to an up/down vote the matter of lifting the moratorium on offshore drilling and allowing the States to decide for themselves…you remember the States right? These are the entities that retain the majority of rights and responsibilities under the US Constitution. But I digress. Pelosi tries to justify her blocking the obvious will of the people, even according to overwhelming numbers in several recent polls by stating that she’s “trying to save the planet.”
.
I’m sorry, did I miss something? Isn’t she a Representative in the House from California? As such and Speaker of the House, is it not her duty to serve the US and California? Now she’s defender of the planet? What next? God forbid that she dons her Wonder Woman costume and charges to the rescue.
.
The point here is that once again we have Democrats that are trying to bend the American people to their will, instead of serving the electorate. Yes, the electorate. It does seem that they view us as the unwashed masses, milling around in desperate confusion awaiting the shining beacon of their wisdom. Never mind that these idiots could not hold a job in corporate America, because running a company into the ground in a pool of debt and life strangling red tape does not get you bonuses, it gets you fired and the company bankrupt.
.
At this point, Pelosi, Reid, and Obama are on the same page and oppose offshore drilling. They want the evil oil companies to drill the 68 million acres that they hold oil leases for….usually not a good idea to drill where there is no oil. I may open a gold mine in my backyard…never mind that there is no gold there…I should try, don’t you think? How do they know there’s not oil or that it’s not worth going after? It’s called modern technology…3D seismology, etc. Yet, I again digress.
.
Enter Friday noon. The Democrats are wanting to adjourn this session of Congress. Pelosi is stifling attempts to bring the drilling vote to the floor. Reid is not allowing amendments to his energy legislation because the Republicans may throw in offshore drilling.
.
Why the big deal over offshore drilling? Well, in order to become energy independent we need to follow all available courses, using those currently viable while developing others. In other words, do everything possible: drilling for oil here, wind, solar, gas.
.
So Friday noon. Motion is made to adjourn. The day before Pelosi had stated that they did not need the Republican permission to adjourn. So now, with a melee heard in the background, the motion to adjourn is made. Voice vote called for and it was stated that the ayes have it. Strange, but I listened to the audio and didn’t sound like it to me. The electronic talley was by a majority of 1.
.
At this point, the Republicans stayed on the House Floor for several hours with the lights out, microphones turned off, and C-Span cameras turned off, as per order of Queen Pelosi.
A good recount of these matters is found here.
.
This “insurrection” lasted for 5 hours, ending with the gallery cheering the Representatives and singing God Bless America.
.
Now, 2 things are evident in this:
.
First, the Democrats are insistent that there way is adhered to and the wants/needs of the American public ignored. What does Pelosi care about price of gas with her $25 million bankroll and government jet?
.
Second, they want to postpone this vote till after the elections, so that Obama’s opposition or typical no-vote present response does not jeopardize his chances of winning.
.
Hmmm..this could backfire in Congress’ face as the American people have their noses rubbed in their own misery. Congress has other legislation that they’re trying to pass that would actually raise the gas tax.
.
Meanwhile, like the Republcans Contract With America years ago was a building block that led to many victories, Friday’s events may serve as a turning point in this election process and awaken not only the Republican Party, but the American electorate in ways that will not only hurt but scare the hell out of the Demonazis.
.
And what news came out last night?
.
Obama has flipped and said that he may support offshore drilling. Talk about riding the tide. This guy stands for nothing but himself.
